Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) has issued two requests for proposals for setting up three floating solar projects, with a cumulative capacity of 490 MW.
One of the tenders is to set up floating solar project of capacity 250 MW. The project will be located at Birsinghpur reservoir, Madhya Pradesh. The bidders are required to submit Rs 1.34 million as an earnest money deposit. The bid submission deadline is March 20, 2024.
While the other tender is to set up two 120 MW floating solar projects. The project will be located at Omkareshwar reservoir, Madhya Pradesh. The bidders are required to submit Rs 1.3 million as an earnest money deposit. The bid submission deadline is January 4, 2024.
In October 2023, RUMSL issued tender for setting up 750 MW wind-solar hybrid power projects. The projects will be located in Madhya Pradesh.
In May 2023, RUMSL issued tender to allot sites for a total of 13.8 GW of pumped hydro storage development in Madhya Pradesh.
