Suzlon secures 100.8 MW contract for its 3 MW capacity wind turbines

Suzlon Group announced that it has secured a 100.8 MW contract from Nordic Energy for its 3 MW wind turbine generators (WTGs). The project is situated in Karnataka.

Suzlon is set to deploy 32 WTGs featuring a Hybrid Lattice Tubular tower, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. This marks a recurring order from the Nordic Energy for the company’s turbine – the S144-140m, with a 3.15 MW rating, belonging to the 3 MW series. Under the terms of the agreement, Suzlon will be responsible for supplying wind turbines and overseeing the project, including the commissioning phase. Suzlon will also handle extensive operations and maintenance services after the commissioning process.

Recently, in December 2023, Suzlon Group secured a contract for setting up 193.2 MW wind project. This project is a part of KP Group’s wind-solar hybrid and tariff-based project, aimed at increasing the share of renewable energy in Gujarat.

In September 2023, Suzlon Group secured a contract from Bright Night for setting up 29.4 MW wind capacity at Osmanabad, Maharashtra.
