Inox Wind Limited announced that it has secured a 279 MW contract from a commercial and industrial (C&I) player for its 3 MW wind turbine generators (WTGs). The project involves a combination of equipment delivery, encompassing a scope of engineering, procurement, and construction for 180 MW, along with execution for 99 MW.
Furthermore, Inox Wind will be responsible for multi-year operations and maintenance services following the commissioning. The project is scheduled for completion by June 2025, involving the installation of WTGs in both Rajasthan and Gujarat. This recurring order is placed by a C&I player, for whom Inox Wind has previously completed approximately 325 MW of orders to date.
In July 2023, Inox Wind announced that TUV SUD granted a Type Certificate to Inox Wind for their new generation 3 MW wind turbine with a booster capacity of up to 3.3 MW. In May 2023, Inox Wind Limited bagged an order for a 150 MW wind power project from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited in Gujarat.
