Enphase Energy has commenced the shipment of IQ8™ microinverters to India, which feature a peak AC power output of 480 W, to complement the latest high-power solar panels. IQ8 microinverters are crafted to optimise energy generation, and are capable of handling a consistent DC current of 14 A. This enables them to support high-power solar modules by enhancing the overall energy harvesting. The recently released microinverters, IQ8HC™ and IQ8P™, are Enphase’s most potent microinverters to date. These offerings boast peak output powers of 384 W and 480 W respectively, and are specifically engineered for effortless integration with a diverse array of solar modules, supporting capacities of up to 670 W DC. A limited guarantee of 15 years is included with every IQ8 microinverter activated in India, with the option to extend it to 25 years. Connecting to the internet allows the IQ™ gateway to connect to the Enphase® app monitoring platform and enable over-the-air upgrades for the Enphase® Energy System™. Per-panel energy monitoring and insights for operations and maintenance are possible for homeowners and small companies through the IQ Gateway and IQ® microinverters. Moreover, the IQ™ Relay is incorporated into the system to physically disconnect IQ microinverters from the grid upon detecting anomalies such as voltage or frequency fluctuations. It will automatically re-establish the connection when valid grid conditions are restored.
