Vikram Solar has signed an agreement with NTPC Limited to deliver 152 MW of high-efficiency crystalline bifacial solar modules. The modules will be delivered for NTPC’s ground-mounted solar power project at Nokh solar park in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The contract falls under the domestic content requirement category. Vikram Solar will be accountable for producing and delivering high efficiency MonoPERC modules.
Recently, in December 2023, NTPC Limited issued tender to select solar power generators for 1,500 MW inter-state transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid projects, tranche IV, anywhere in India.
In the same month, NTPC Limited issued tender to select solar power generators for 1,500 MW ISTS-connected solar projects anywhere in India.
In the same month, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited issued tender for land and an extra high voltage transmission package to set up 800 MW ISTS-connected solar projects in Maharashtra.
