Erisha E-Mobility signs MoU with Uttarakhand government worth Rs 19 billion

Erisha E-Mobility and Uttarakhand government have entered into an MoU worth Rs 19 billion to develop an electric vehicle (EV) park and install 100 advanced EV charging hubs throughout Uttarakhand. The proposed 320-acre EV park would be built at a cost of Rs 15 billion. It will be established as a center for innovation, research, and development in the electric mobility sector, creating a platform for collaboration among EV manufacturers, ancillary units, technology providers, and researchers.

The objective is to promote the development of the EV ecosystem in Uttarakhand. Furthermore, the project seeks to create a strong charging infrastructure by installing 100 EV charging hubs at a cost of Rs 4 billion. These hubs will be strategically positioned throughout the state.

Part of the Rana Group, Erisha E Mobility seeks to produce, market, and export items in all categories of EVs, encompassing municipal E-dump trucks, E-commercial vehicles, E-buses, E-two-wheelers, and hydrogen fuel cell buses. Moreover, in partnership with a European partner, it intends to build hydrogen combustion engines and fuel cells.

In June 2023, Erisha E Mobility and the government of Uttar Pradesh signed a MoU to invest $50 million towards the construction of 100 electric vehicles charging hubs in Gautam Buddha Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh.

In November 2023, Erisha E-Mobility entered the green hydrogen segment in a joint venture with Germany’s Greenbox Global Holding.
