NTPC Limited has issued a request for proposals to select solar power generators for 1,500 MW inter-state transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid projects, tranche IV. To be located anywhere in India, the projects will be set up on the basis of build, own, and operate model. According to the tender guidelines, the bidders are required to submit Rs 1,160,000 per MW as an earnest money deposit. The bid submission deadline is January 3, 2024.
Recently, in December 2023, NTPC Limited issued tender to select solar power generators for 1,500 MW ISTS-connected solar projects anywhere in India.
In the same month, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) issued tender for land and an extra high voltage transmission package to set up 800 MW ISTS-connected solar projects in Maharashtra.
In November 2023, NTPC REL issued tender for balance-of-system package to set up 1,110 MW ISTS-connected wind projects, tranche-II in Gujarat.
