Waaree Energies collaborates with IRCON Renewable Power to supply 200 MW solar modules

Waaree Energies Limited has collaborated with IRCON Renewable Power Limited to supply more than 200 MW of solar PV modules in adherence to domestic content requirement.

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency has awarded a 500 MW grid-connected solar PV project to IRCON Renewable Power Limited, a special purpose company of IRCON International Limited. The solar PV modules provided by Waaree Energies Limited will be deployed by IRCON in Pavagada, Karnataka.

With a 12 GW installed capacity, Waaree Energies Limited, the flagship company of the Waaree Group, is the largest manufacturer of solar modules in India. In addition to having four innovative solar module production facilities, it is present in 20 international and over 388 national locations.

In November 2023, Waaree Energies Limited partnered with NTPC Limited to supply over 135 MW solar modules for a solar project located in Anta, Baran district of Rajasthan.

In October 2023, Waaree Energies Limited secured a contract from ENGIE India for the supply of 200 MW of solar modules for a solar power project in Sayla village within the Surendra Nagar district of Gujarat.
