Goldi Solar wins contract for 190 MW module supply

Goldi Solar has won an order for modules supply from ENGIE India. As part of a 25-year solar power purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, the contract involves providing 190 MW of modules for ENGIE India’s forthcoming Sayla village project. As per the arrangement, Goldi Solar will supply Engie India with the HELOC® PRO series, consisting of 545 Wp photovoltaic modules. These modules are anticipated to help India achieve its clean energy targets by generating 0.34 billion of electricity annually.

Goldi Solar operates two facilities with a combined production capacity of 4 GW located at Pipodara and Navsari in Gujarat. The company holds accreditation from all significant certifications, catering to both domestic and international markets.

Recently, in November 2023, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited awarded a 400 MW solar project to ENGIE as a part of its 750 MW, Phase XVI, auction process.

In the same month, RenewSys signed a 100 MW solar module supply agreement with Engie India. The company will deliver monocrystalline bifacial glass-backsheet modules for GUVNL 2 project of Engie India.
