Hartek Solar has completed the installation and commissioning of a 2 MW rooftop solar project for SML ISUZU Limited. The project has been executed in Ropar, Punjab. This solar project is expected to have a significant positive environmental effect, aiming to cut around 65,000 tonnes of carbon emissions, in line with worldwide sustainability goals.
The company performed comprehensive surveying, designing, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the project. Covering an area of 200,000 square feet, the entire project spans seven roofs at the SML ISUZU facility. The project was finalised within a 75-day period, including securing all required government clearances and following industry-leading safety procedures.
In April 2023, Hartek Solar won a contract from SJVN Green Energy Limited to build a 22 MW DC (15 MW AC) floating solar PV power project at Nangal Pond in Himachal Pradesh’s Bilaspur district. In October 2022, Hartek Solar bagged an order for a 2,000 kW floating solar plant from Chandigarh Renewal Energy and Science & Technology Promotion Society.
