RenewSys has signed a 100 MW solar module supply agreement with Engie India. The company will deliver monocrystalline bifacial glass-backsheet modules for Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) 2 project of Engie India. As a part of power purchase agreement for 25 years, the project will deliver energy to GUVNL.
RenewSys, a PV module manufacturer, has a panel production capacity of 2.75 GW, encapsulant capacity of 6 GW, backsheets capacity of 4 GW, and PV cell capacity of 130 MW. The company has manufactured and supplied more than 22 GW of encapsulants and backsheets globally.
Recently, in October 2023, Waaree Energies Limited secured a contract from ENGIE India for the supply of 200 MW of solar modules for a solar power project in Sayla village within the Surendra Nagar district of Gujarat.
