NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has issued a request for proposals (RfPs) for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of 630 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar projects. The projects will be located at Barethi, Madhya Pradesh.
According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work under the project includes designing, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, storage, testing and commissioning projects, with open category PV modules. The work also includes topographical surveys, geotechnical studies, site grading and clearing. The bid submission deadline is December 29, 2023.
Furthermore, the winning bidder will be responsible for operations and maintenance for a period of three years. To be eligible, the bidders must have executed solar projects with total installed capacity of 40 MW or more. Of this, one project must be of 10 MW or more.
In November 2023, NTPC REL issued RfPs for EPC of 650 MW grid-connected solar projects at Bikaner, Rajasthan. In October 2023, NTPC REL issued RfPs for land and transmission package of maximum 2,000 MW inter-state transmission system connected solar projects in Rajasthan under tranche III.
