NTPC Limited has issued a request for proposals (RfPs) to select clean power generators for 3,000 MW inter-state transmission system connected firm and dispatchable power. The projects can be set up anywhere in India. The project will be developed on the basis of build, own, and operate model. The bid submission deadline is December 12, 2023.
Recently, in October 2023, NTPC Limited and Engineers India Limited signed a MoA that permits NETRA, the research and development center of NTPC in order to facilitate the transition to clean energy.
In the same month, NTPC Limited issued RfPs for commissioning a 56 MW floating solar project at NTPC’S north Karanpura thermal power station in Jharkhand.
