Vibrant Energy has entered into its third power purchase agreement (PPA) with Amazon for a 198 MW wind project. The plant will be located in Osmanabad, Maharashtra.
Earlier in 2022, Amazon collaborated with Vibrant for the initial two wind-solar hybrid projects in India. Amazon has achieved a significant milestone, surpassing 1.1 GW of renewable energy capacity in India, with the addition of this 198 MW wind project.
In May 2023, Saint-Gobain signed a PPA in India with Vibrant Energy to provide wind-solar electricity to six of its sites.
In April 2023, Vibrant Energy received Rs 22 billion from the Power Finance Corporation to build two 300 MW wind-solar hybrid projects in Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.
