Shakti Pumps has announced that it has secured an order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited for 50,000 off-grid solar photovoltaic pumps under component B of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) programme, phase III. The pumps will be installed across Maharashtra.
Furthermore, the project is estimated to cost Rs 16.03 billion, including GST and will be commissioned within 24 months.
In October 2023, Shakti Pumps secured Rs 1.49 billion order from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited under Component C of PM-KUSUM.
In September 2023, Shakti Pumps announced that it secured an order from Haryana Renewable Energy Department Agency for 7,781 pumps under PM-KUSUM.
