JDVVNL issues tender for 50.71 MW solar projects

Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JDVVNL) has issued a request for proposals (RfPs) for the installation and commissioning of grid-connected 50.71 MW solar power projects under component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) programme for feeder level solarisation. The projects will be developed on the basis of the renewable energy service company model.

According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work under the project includes the development of the relevant 33/11 kV line linking the solar power projects to the relevant 33/11 kV substations. The bidder is required to submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 100,000 per MW.  The developer must also look after the operations and maintenance of the project for a period of 25 years. The developer will be required to furnish a performance bank guarantee of Rs 500,000 per MW of the allocated capacity. Furthermore, the developer will be responsible for operations and maintenance and should offer a remote monitoring system for a period of five years. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 35 million per MW. The bid submission deadline is October 26, 2023.

Within seven days of the filing of the performance bank guarantee, a power purchase agreement for a duration of 25 years at the levelised rate established by the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission will be executed between the winning bidder and Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. The projects must be completed within nine months of the PPA being signed.

In August 2023, JDVVNL issued a RfP for the installation and commissioning of 45.8 MW grid-connected solar power projects under component C of the PM-KUSUM programme.
