Juniper Green Energy has bagged US $350 million from AT Capital Group and Vitol to assist in its operational capacity expansion. After committing US $200 million initially, AT Capital Group and Vitol have increased their investment to US $350 million after two years. At present, Juniper Green Energy have an operational portfolio of around 800 MW, with 435 MW capacity of projects underway and a development pipeline of over 3 GW across solar, wind and hybrid power projects.
Recently, in September 2023, Juniper Green Energy and Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited emerged as winners in the Tata Power’s auction for 225 MW of grid-connected wind-solar hybrid projects, with each having won a capacity of 75 MW and 150 MW at a tariff of Rs 3.27 per kWh and Rs 3.28 per kWh, respectively.
In July 2023, Juniper Green Energy and Power Finance Corporation Limited signed a MoU for Rs 50 billion to support 1,200 MW of renewable energy projects, at the 14th Clean Energy Ministerial meeting.
