THDC India Limited has issued request for proposals to seek project management and consultancy services for setting up an 11 MW floating solar project. The project will be located at the Khurja Super thermal power project at Bulanshahr in Uttar Pradesh.
According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work under the project includes consultancy services for the development of project including, design reviewing, all design calculations validation, documents, and drawings submitted by the contractors. Additionally, the equipment manufacturers should take care of statuary and specification requirements. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 4.6 billion. The projects must be completed within nine months of the power purchase agreement (PPA) being signed. The last date for bid submission is September 27, 2023.
In July 2023, THDC India solicited proposals to appoint consultants for the purchase of land to create 2,000 MW ultra-mega renewable energy parks in Rajasthan. The consultants would be appointed for a period of two years.
In February 2023, THDC Limited and Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited agreed to form a joint venture with a shareholding ratio of 74:26 to develop 1.8 GW of renewable energy projects in Rajasthan.
