ANERT invites consultants to set up green hydrogen project in Kerala

The Agency for New & Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) has floated a tender to appoint consultants for developing green hydrogen project management units. The project will be located in Kerala.

According to the notification, the developer is required to submit a performance bank guarantee annually equal to 3 per cent of total contract value. The consultant’s engagement will be for a period of three years from the selection date, with incremental charges up to 5 per cent each year. The applicant must have served as a management consultant in the government in the last 10 years in order to qualify as a consultant. ANERT has been selected as a nodal agency for Kerala’s green hydrogen initiatives. The last date for bid submission is September 15, 2023.

In July 2023, ANERT issued an invitation for bids for 1.24 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar power plants in Thiruvananthapuram for the solar city project which is being funded under Smart City Thiruvananthapuram. The scope of the work under the project comprises grid-connected rooftop solar power project design, supply, engineering, erection, testing, and commissioning, as well as 10 years of operation and maintenance.

In May 2023, The ANERT issued a request for proposals to commission a 1 MW rooftop solar installation at BrahMos Aerospace in Thiruvananthapuram.
