Sunsure Energy and Dabur India sign open access solar PPA

A power purchase agreement (PPA) has been signed between the Sunsure Energy and Dabur India Limited for open access solar power. Dabur India will use this agreement to offset the power requirements for its Uttar Pradesh facility. As a part of the agreement, Sunsure Energy will supply more than 4 million units of clean energy to Dabur’s facility in Ghaziabad, enabling the company to offset carbon emissions by 3.2 million kilogrammes per year during 25-year period.

In July 2023, Sunsure Energy developed three solar projects for Dalmia Bharat Cement to support the operations of the company. The solar energy projects have a total capacity 23.74 MW.

In January 2023, Sunsure Energy notified successful completion of its 15 MWp open access solar power plant in Uttar Pradesh’s Mahoba district. The project intended to help in providing 23.5 million units of clean energy on an annual basis to some of Uttar Pradesh’s largest companies at a low cost that would help in power savings of more than 30 per cent. It will contribute to the reduction of 20,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
