
Mundra Solar Energy, a step-down subsidiary of Adani Enterprises has announced the commissioning of its 2 GW solar cells and modules manufacturing facility. The facility is situated in Mundra, Gujarat. The company received the certification for commercial operation date for its 2 GW plant from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
The company has in total bagged solar projects of 8 GW as a part of manufacturing linked solar tender that is contingent on the development of 2 GW solar cells and modules manufacturing facility. Adani Enterprises and Adani Green owns a stake of 74 per cent and 26 per cent in Mundra Solar Energy.
In May 2023, Adani Wind Energy Kutchh Five Limited inaugurated a 130 MW wind power plant in Gujarat, Kutch. The newly commissioned plant will be operated by the Adani Group’s intelligent ‘Energy Network Operation Centre’ technology.
In March 2023, Adani Green Energy Limited announced that it has successfully commissioned a 700 MW wind-solar hybrid plant in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer district. A 25-year power purchase agreement at Rs 3.24 per kWh has been placed for the hybrid plant.
