Airtouch Solar, an Israel based robotic cleaning solutions firm, has announced the signing of a $8.5 million agreement with ReNew. Airtouch will supply and install water-free robotic cleaner AT 4.0 for solar panels in ReNew’s project which is worth $2.5 million. The company will be responsible for operations and maintenance of cleaning the robots for a period of 25 years, which is anticipated to bring in an additional $5.9 million for the company. The company anticipates to finish the installation of robots by June end, 2024. This is the fifth and biggest deal Airtouch has ever had with ReNew.
In March 2023, Airtouch Solar signed $4 million contract with India based Acme Group for the supply and maintenance of robotic water-free cleaning systems for PV solar panels. The scope of work included sales, supply, installation, operation, and maintenance of cleaning robots for Acme’s solar plant in Rajasthan.
In the same month, Airtouch Solar signed a long-term contract for the supply and maintenance of panel cleaning robots with ReNew worth $3 million.
