Recom has introduced a range of all-black solar modules, incorporating n-type tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) technology, specifically designed for residential and commercial rooftop photovoltaic (PV) applications. These panels come in five variations, providing power outputs ranging from 440 W to 460 W and efficiency ratings between 22.5 per cent and 23.6 per cent. Measuring 1,722 mm x 1,134 mm x 35 mm and weighing 22.2 kg, these panels incorporate 108 half-cut monocrystalline n-type TOPCons featuring back-contact technology. By reducing shading on the front of the cell, the module maximises the total cell area, leading to higher efficiency and enabling rapid returns on investment. Operating at a maximum system voltage of 1,500 V and equipped with IP68 junction boxes, these panels demonstrate high durability and adaptability to diverse environmental conditions, with an operational temperature range spanning from -40 °C to 85 °C. The company offers a 30-year linear power output guarantee and a 25-year product guarantee. The panels are reported to experience approximately 1 per cent degradation in the first year, while maintaining a minimum power output of 88.85 per cent of the nominal output power after 30 years.
