NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has issued a request for proposal for setting up inter-state transmission system (ISTS) connected wind power projects for a capacity of 110 MW at Khavda renewable energy park, Gujarat.
According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work under the project includes designing, engineering, micro-siting, manufacturing, supplying, erection, installing, testing, and commissioning wind turbine generators with a rating of 27 MW or more, listed under the revised list of modules and manufacturers. In addition, the bidders are required to submit Rs 100 million as an earnest money deposit. The successful bidder is also required to look after project’s operations and maintenance for a period of ten years.
Recently, in July 2023, NTPC Limited issued a request for proposals for establishing 1.5 GW of ISTS-connected solar power projects that can be built anywhere in India.
In the same month, NTPC REL issued a request for proposals for the engineering, procurement, and construction for two 200 MW solar power projects in Gujarat’s Khavda Renewable Energy Park.
