The Jakson Group has partnered with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi for a solar rooftop plant. A 9 kW rooftop solar plant has been developed on the bungalow of AIIMS director under the direction of the Jakson Welfare Trust, the CSR division of the Jakson Group.
The solar plant is anticipated to produce approximately 13,140 units annually which will be enough to meet all power requirements. The company has installed its latest Helia series solar panels, which are built on A+ category of half-cut MonoPERC solar cells, to provide lower levelised cost of electricity thereby resulting in higher performance.
In January 2023, Redington Limited announced its partnership with Jakson Group to distribute solar panels and green energy products in southern Indian markets of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala. As a part of the partnership, Redington will enable the seamless distribution of Jakson’s solar panels and other products in the solar ecosystem.
In September 2022, Virescent Renewable Energy Trust intended to purchase approximately 100 MW solar projects from the Jakson Group. The Jakson acquisition would elevate the total operational solar capacity of Virescent to 600 MW.
