JDVVNL invites bids for 163 MW solar projects under PM KUSUM scheme

Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JDVVNL) has issued a request for proposals (RfP) for three tenders for the installation and commissioning of 65 grid-connected solar power projects. The projects have a total capacity of 163.52 MW under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) programme for feeder level solarisation. The tender has been issued for capacities of 20.16 MW across (Anoopgarh, Gharsana, and Rawala subdivisions), and both 64.36 and 79 MW in the (Gajsinghpur, Padampur, Raisinghnagar, and Shri Karanpur subdivisions).

The renewable energy service company (RESCO) model will be used to develop the projects. The project developer will be responsible for the supply and installation of the relevant 33/11 kV line linking the solar power projects to the concerned 33/11 kV substation, including bay, breakers and metering system. The estimated cost of project is Rs 35 million.

According to the tender guidelines, the bidders are required to submit Rs 100,000 per MW each for the three tenders as an earnest money deposit. Furthermore, the developer must serve a performance bank guarantee of Rs 500,000 per MW of the quoted capacity.

Within seven days of the filing of the performance bank guarantee, a power purchase agreement (PPA) for a duration of 25 years at the levelised rate established by the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission will be executed between the winning bidder and Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.

Earlier this month, JDVVNL issued RfP for the installation and commissioning of 29 grid-connected solar power projects. The projects have a total capacity of 74.8 MW under Component C of the PM-KUSUM programme.

In the same month, JDVVNL issued three tenders for the installation and commissioning of 108 grid-connected solar power projects. The projects have a total capacity of 295.32 MW under various subdivisions of the Hanumangarh Circle under Component C of PM-KUSUM programme.
