Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JDVVNL) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for the installation and commissioning of 29 grid-connected solar power projects. The projects have a total capacity of 74.8 MW under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) programme for feeder level solarisation.
The projects will be located in Kesrisungpura, Sri Ganganagar (Rural), Lalgarh, Sri Ganganagar, and Sadulsahar subdivisions of Sri Ganganagr Circle in Jodhpur. The renewable energy service company model will be used to develop the projects. The project developer will also be responsible for the supply, erection and maintenance of the relevant 33/11 kV line linking the solar power projects to the substation, including bay, breakers and metering system. The estimated cost of project is Rs 35 million.
According to the tender guidelines, the bidders must look after operations and maintenance of projects for 25 years. The bidders are also required to submit Rs 100,000 per MW as an earnest money deposit. The bid submission deadline is August 25, 2023.
Within seven days of the filing of the performance bank guarantee, a power purchase agreement (PPA) for a duration of 25 years at the levelised rate established by the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission will be executed between the winning bidder and Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam. The projects must be completed within nine months of the PPA being signed.
Recently, in July 2023, JDVVNL issued three tenders for the installation and commissioning of 108 grid-connected solar power projects. The projects have a total capacity of 295.32 MW under various subdivisions of the Hanumangarh Circle under Component C of PM-KUSUM programme for feeder level solarisation.
