IOCL issues O&M tender for 3 MW solar project in Andhra Pradesh

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has floated bids for operations and maintenance of 3 MW solar PV project for a period of one year. The project is situated at IOCL’s LPG bottling plant in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. As per the tender guidelines, the scope of work includes operations and maintenance (O&M) of solar power plant, power evacuation infrastructure, entire repair and maintenance of the project, switchyard, bay, underground cable, optimum energy generation as well as supply of materials by the contractor at its own cost.

In addition, the contractor should ensure more than 97 per cent of the plant availability. They must submit a bid security declaration in place of the earnest money deposit. The project is expected to cost Rs 4.93 million. The bid submission deadline is August 1, 2023.

In April 2023, IOCL issued a request for proposals (RFP) for the yearly O&M contract for a 1,001.3 kW rooftop solar system installed at its Paradip Refinery and Township in Odisha. According to the tender guidelines, the bidders must submit Rs 82,400 as an earnest money deposit.

In March 2023, IOCL requested bids for the five-year O&M of an existing 8 MW solar power project at the Sanand LPG bottling plant in Ahmedabad. The project was expected to cost Rs 40.9 million. Bidders were not required to submit an earnest money deposit in order to participate in the bidding. As a security deposit, the successful bidder must have submitted an amount equal to 3 per cent of the total contract value.
