Energy Efficiency Services (EESL) has issued a request for proposals for the delivery of 28.72 MW of polycrystalline solar modules with wattage outputs of 330 Wp and higher for solar power projects in Maharashtra. According to the tender guidelines, the bidders must submit an earnest money deposit worth Rs 13.04 million. The selected bidder will be required to present a performance security equal to 10 per cent of the contract price within 28 days of receiving notification of award. The modules must be provided within three months of being awarded.
This tender will only accept bids from Class-I local suppliers. Additionally, the bidders must have had an average yearly turnover of at least 195.6 million in the previous three financial years.The deadline for proposal submissions is August 8, 2023.
In July 2023, Power Finance Corporation (PFC), subsidiary PFC Consulting, issued a request for proposals for the development of an interstate transmission system to transport 1,500 MW of electricity from renewable energy projects in Maharashtra’s Solapur special economic zone. According to the tender guidelines, the project will be built, owned, operated, and transferred before being transferred.
