NTPC floats bids for 200 MW of solar power projects in Gujarat

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has issued a request for proposals for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) for two 200 MW solar power projects in Gujarat’s Khavda Renewable Energy Park. According to the tender guidelines, design, engineering, production, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, uploading storage, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar project, including the provision of solar modules, are all part of the scope of business.

Additionally, bidders must deposit worth Rs 22,500 in order to receive the bidding paperwork. Also, bidders must have created or designed, erected, commissioned, or supervised these activities for grid-connected solar power plants of 40 MW or greater capacity.The deadline for bid submission is August 9, 2023.

Recently, the Government of Meghalaya entered into a series of memorandum of understanding (MoU) with NTPC Limited to enhance the power sector scenario in the state. The MoU aims to streamline the management and operations of Meghalaya discom, ensuring efficient power distribution and improved service delivery to the people. It also focuses on better power portfolio management of Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited and the utilisation of renewable and green energy resources available in the country.
