Suzlon Group has announced a new order win for the development of a 47.6 MW wind power project for KP Group.The project will be located at Vagra in Bharuch district of Gujarat. Suzlon will supply their S133 wind turbines and supervise execution and commissioning of the project, besides providing comprehensive operations and maintenance services post‐commissioning.
The power generated from this project will serve the commercial and industrial consumer segment for captive use. A project of this size can provide electricity to ~36,000 households and curb ~0.14 million tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2024.
In May 2023, Suzlon Group announced that it received an order for its new 3 MW series wind turbines to establish a 300 MW wind power project for Torrent Power Limited. According to the notification, Suzlon will deploy 100 wind turbine generators with 3 MW rated capacity and a hybrid lattice tubular tower.
