Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam (AVVNL) has issued a tender for the development of 82.94 MW of grid-connected solar power projects under Component ‘C’ of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyaan (PM-KUSUM) feeder solarisation programme. The projects will be created under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model and will be placed in the Rajasthan circles of Nagaur, Sikar, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, and Rajsamand. The developer must supply a remote monitoring system as well as project operation and maintenance for a period of 25 years. The deadline for proposal submissions is June 27, 2023. The anticipated cost of the project is Rs 35 million per MW.
Bidders must submit a deposit of Rs 100,000 per MW of quoted capacity. Successful bidders must present a performance bank guarantee of Rs 500,000 per MW of quoted capacity. Within seven days after the submission of the performance bank guarantee,the successful bidder and Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam must execute a power purchase agreement for 25 years at the levelized tariff established by the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission. The projects must be completed within nine months of the power purchase agreement’s signing.
In January 2023, Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam (RUVNL) invited bids to set up 1,500 MW of interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects anywhere in India with required storage for distribution companies to have flexibility in scheduling of power. The bid submission deadline is February 28, 2023.
