Gautam Solar partners with Jinchen to double solar module capacity to 1 GWp

Gautam Solar has announced a partnership with Jinchen, which supplies high-efficiency solar cell and module manufacturing equipment. The collaboration aims to double Gautam Solar’s solar module capacity to 1 GWp by September 2023. As part of the agreement, Gautam Solar will incorporate a state-of-the-art 500 MW high-efficiency automatic solar module production line, enhancing its overall manufacturing capabilities. The deal was signed at SNEC, 16th International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference and Exhibition and will become operational by September 2023.

With over 25+ years of experience, Gautam Solar has 4 factories in Haridwar, Uttarakhand and its Corporate Head Office is in New Delhi. The company has a solar module capacity of 500 MWp and is expanding to 1 GWp by September 2023. It has multiple Patents & IPs registered in its name and is known for its technically superior and innovative solar modules.

In April 2023, Gautam Solar successfully supplied 10BB Mono Half-Cut Solar panels for a solar power plant at Raja Bhoj International Airport (Bhopal Airport) in the state of Madhya Pradesh. In March 2023, the company unveiled its 545 Wp series of 10BB monocrystalline passi­vated emitter and rear cell (PERC) sol­ar panels, which have been listed in the Approved List of Models and Ma­nu­facturers (ALMM) by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
