Erisha E Mobility to invest $50 million to build 100 EV charging hubs

Erisha E Mobility and the Government of Uttar Pradesh have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to invest $50 million towards the construction of 100 electric vehicles charging hubs in Gautam Buddha Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh. This significant collaboration aims to hasten the uptake of electric vehicles and support environmentally friendly transport options in Uttar Pradesh.

As per the report, the collaboration with the UP government represents a shared commitment to developing green transport and lowering carbon emissions. The collaboration seeks to allay the range anxiety concerns of EV consumers and encourage the growth of the EV market in the district. This is done by increasing the charging infrastructure network. The installation of 100 EV charging hubs would help Uttar Pradesh achieve its goal of becoming a pioneer in sustainable energy.

In November 2022, Erisha E-Mobility entered the green hydrogen segment in a joint venture with Germany’s Greenbox Global Holding. Greenbox provides decentralised scalable green hydrogen plant implementation. Using Greenbox technology, the company will produce a wide range of hydrogen solutions such as hydrogen containers, energy storage systems, hydrogen gensets, and hydrogen vehicles.
