National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) released a tender for an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for establishing a 75 MW capacity ISTS-connected solar power project anywhere in India. The for sale of energy through power exchange, as well as a comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) contract for a period of five years.
According to the tender guidelines, the cost for a bid document is Rs.10,000. Additionally, the bid security is Rs 430,00,000. Annual reports from the previous five financial years up to 2021-22 will be included for financial criterion review. The deadline for offline submissions is May 23, 2023
Recently, in April 2023, NHPC requested domestic proposals to establish a 300 MW floating solar power plant in Odisha on a turnkey basis. The facility will be built near the Rengali Reservoir in the Angul area and the EPC completion period is 21 months.
