Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JDVVNL) has floated bids to install and commission 32.76 MW of grid-connected solar power plants in various subdivisions of the Balotara division in the Barmer circle under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM).
According to the tender guidelines,the projects will be built using the Renewable Energy Service Company concept, with the goal of solarising agriculture pumps in subdivisions. Also, the selected bidder will also be required to manage and maintain the project for a period of 25 years.
The bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of 100,000 per MW. As a performance bank guarantee, successful bidders must provide a sum equal to Rs 500,000 per MW of the quoted capacity. The projected project cost is Rs 35 million per MW of capacity quoted. Within seven days of the submission of the performance bank guarantee, a power purchase agreement for 25 years at the levelised tariff approved by the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission will be executed between the bidder and the Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam.The deadline for submitting bids is June 5, 2023.
In January 2023, JDVVNL issued a tender for the development of 31.02 MW grid-connected solar projects. The projects will be established using the RESCO model under Component ‘C’ of the PM-KUSUM feeder solarisation programme.
