Solis Technologies has launched its new S6 Advanced Power Hybrid Inverter, the S6-EH1P8K-L-PRO. The product has added generator connection and control features, and can operate as a completely independent power centre. It provides major performance improvements, such as enhanced connectivity and control capabilities, allowing for the easy incorporation of generators with numerous input points and automatic on/off control. The maximum current for both charging and discharging has been boosted to 190A. Meanwhile, automatic uninterruptible power supply (UPS) switching enables homeowners and businesses to manage power outages in an efficient manner. The inverter can operate in single or three phases, and accommodates up to six parallel connections with a maximum combined capacity of 48 kW. A 10-second, 200 per cent surge overload capability protects it. Both lead-acid and lithium batteries can be used with its multiple battery protection features and customisable charge/discharge time settings. With independent generator interfaces and automatic UPS switching, the new range makes it easier to transmit extra power back to the grid. It supports peak shaving control in both “self-use” and “generator” modes.
