SJVN floats bids for BoS package for 100 MW solar project in Gujarat

SJVN Green Energy has floated bids for the balance of system (BoS) package for a 100 MW (AC) grid-connected solar facility in Gujarat’s Patan district. As per the tender guidelines, the prospective contractor’s scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and three years of comprehensive operation and maintenance of the solar plant, excluding the supply of photovoltaic modules.

The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) completion period is 425 days from contract award. The bid submission deadline is May 18,2023.

In March 2023, the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) awarded SJVN Green Energy Limited with a letter of award for a 200 MW solar power project to be developed anywhere in Maharashtra. The project is expected to be completed in 18 months, beginning with the signing of the power purchase agreement  (PPA) with MSEDCL.

Also,in December 2023, SJVN Green Energy issued a request for proposals to commission a 100 MW grid-connected solar power project in Goliwada, Gujarat. According to the tender guidelines, the successful developer must complete the project in 465 days and provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for three years.
