INOX Air Products announced the completion of a 21.3 MW open access captive solar power facility in Bangarmau in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. According to the company, the project was commissioned by Sunsure Energy, a Haryana-based solar power provider and the project cost about Rs 1 billion to be built. The project will supply approximately 31 million units of green power to INOX Air Products’ operations in Uttar Pradesh.
Recently,in April 2023, Roofsol Energy Private Limited, a rooftop solar EPC player based in Mumbai announced the commissioning of a 4 MWp rooftop solar project for Uttar Pradesh-based shoe manufacturer Mirza International. The plant was erected at Mirza International’s factory in the Unnao district.
Also, in January 2023, Sunsure Energy notified successful completion of its 15 MWp open access solar power plant in Uttar Pradesh’s Mahoba district. The project will help in providing 23.5 million units of clean energy on an annual basis to some of Uttar Pradesh’s largest companies at a low cost that would help in power savings of more than 30 per cent.
