Roofsol Energy Private Limited, a rooftop solar EPC player based in Mumbai, has announced the commissioning of a 4 MWp rooftop solar project for Uttar Pradesh-based shoe manufacturer Mirza International. The plant was erected at Mirza International’s factory in the Unnao district.
According to Roofsol, it is estimated to generate 5.2 million units of electricity in the first year and prevent around 3,000 MT of greenhouse gas emissions.Trina Solar mono PERC 540 Wp modules and Sungrow inverters were used to construct the PV facility.
In August 2022, Roofsol Energy inaugurated a 5 MWp rooftop solar plant at Punjab-based textile manufacturer ST Cottex’s Ludhiana plant. In its first year, the plant is expected to generate 6.7 million units of electricity and replace 7,000 tonnes of greenhouse gases. The system includes 10,700 high efficiency JA Solar 465 Wp Mono Perc modules and 39 Sungrow 100 kW inverters. The plant’s developer, Radiance Renewables installed it using the RESCO model.
