Magenta Mobility installs its largest EV charging depot in Bengaluru

Magenta Mobility has opened its largest electric vehicle (EV) charging depot which has the capacity to charge up to 70 EVs at the same time. The new charging depot is established at Bilekahalli, Bengaluru. The depot spans across an area of about 11,000 square feet. The company has opened its 23rd charging station in Bengaluru.

It has 63 3.3 kW AC chargers and three 15 kW DC chargers, with an additional space for future expansion. A 315 kVA substation has been installed to provide the chargers with a stable and uninterrupted power supply.

The company provides end-to-end integrated e-mobility solutions including EVs, charging infrastructure and software technology. Currently, it has an electric fleet of over 600 vehicles across Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Noida, and Gurgaon serving clients for their last-mile deliveries.

In September 2022, Flipkart partnered with Magenta Mobility, an electric fleet operator to deploy 400 electric cargo vehicles that would help in electrifying its fleets in Delhi NCR. Magenta has officially moved into the Delhi NCR with this collaboration.
