FC TecNrgy and SFC Energy collaborate for hydrogen and methanol fuel cells facility

FC TecNrgy and German firm SFC Energy have collaborated to manufacture hydrogen and methanol fuel cells in India. The new facility is planned to be located in Gurugram, Haryana.  According to the agreement, SFC will manufacture its EFOY hydrogen and EFOY methanol fuel cells locally and ensure quality, while FCTec will continue to identify opportunities, engineer and assemble customised fuel cell solutions, system integration, as well as design and development of other critical components for such solutions, and after-sales service.

According to the agreement, a new facility for hydrogen and methanol fuel cell manufacturing will be operational by April 2023. The agreement was officially signed during German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s visit to India.
