ANERT floats bids for 100 MW rooftop solar projects

The Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) has floated bids to establish rooftop solar projects in Thiruvananthapuram. The project will have a total capacity of 100 MW. The scope of work of the project includes supplying, installing, and commissioning multiple solar power systems ranging from 1 kW to 500 kW across public buildings in Thiruvananthapuram. The successful bidders must also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for five years.

According to the tender guidelines, the bidders must pay an empanelment fee of Rs 29,500. The selected bidders must submit a performance bank guarantee of 3 per cent of the quoted capacity. The capacity will be assigned to the bidder with the lowest bid. The solar modules for the project must be purchased from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers. For the next five years, the minimum capacity utilisation factor must not be less than 21 per cent.The bid submission deadline is March 3, 2023.

In December 2022, ANERT floated bids for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of 1.232 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems on 71 public buildings under the solar city project. The project will be located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Additionally, in October 2022, ANERT issued a request for proposals for the installation and commissioning of 2 MW of grid-connected solar projects. The project will be executed at the Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Limited (MILMA) dairy in Ernakulam, Kerala.
