IOCL floats bids for O&M of 4.5 MW solar project in Tamil Nadu

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has issued a request for proposals for the comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) of a 4.5 MW ground-mounted solar power project in Narimanam, Tamil Nadu. The project is expected to cost Rs 36.3 million over four years, including GST. There is no tender document fee or earnest money deposit that has to be submitted by the bidders. The successful bidder is required to pay performance security deposit equal to 3 per cent of the work order value upon receipt of the work order. The security deposit will be returned 12 months after the project’s work is completed. The tender offer will be valid for 120 days from the date of the bid opening.

All materials required to complete the work, including cement, reinforcement, structural steel, consumables, testing appliances, tools, and tackles, would have to be procured and supplied by the bidder. The work at the site will be overseen by either an IOCL site engineer or a project management consultant agency hired by the company. The deadline for bid submissions is February 4, 2023

In September 2022, IOCL requested bids from consultants to provide project management consultancy services for the installation of a 2.25 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar power project at its liquefied petroleum gas bottling plant in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
