Gujarat calls bids from consultants for 4 MW solar project

The Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) has called bids from consultants for the survey, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 4 MW ground-mounted off-grid solar power project. It also includes operations and maintenance upto period of 25 years. The deadline for bid submissions is January 25, 2023. The project is estimated to cost Rs 6 million. A tender fee of Rs 3,000 is required to enter into the bidding process. Also, bidders must also provide Rs 60,000 as an earnest money deposit.

Bidders must have a minimum of five years of experience providing consultancy services to solar power projects. The bidders must have completed consultancy on at least one ground-mounted solar power project with a total capacity of at least 2 MW for any government/semi-government or public sector. A Chartered Accountant Certificate demonstrating financial turnover for the last seven fiscal years must be provided and must equal at least 50 per cent of the tender amount.

Recently in December 2022, SJVN Green Energy issued a request for proposals to commission a 100 MW grid-connected solar power project in Goliwada, Gujarat. According to the tender guidelines, the successful developer must complete the project in 465 days and provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for three years.
