GameChange Solar has unveiled its high power producing east-west tilt racking system, MaxDensity™, which is priced at $.029 globally for a typical 105 mph wind load with moderate soil corrosion. The system can withstand winds of up to 120 mph and snow loads of 10 psf. MaxDensity™ has much fewer part types than a typical fixed tilt racking system, making it faster to install than conventional fixed tilt structures. No heavy equipment such as pile drivers is required and only handheld tools are needed. With a ground coverage ratio of up to 98 per cent, the MaxDensity™ system is made to maximise the number of modules that can be packed onto a site. It can be set up in configurations of up to 12,000 modules, in blocks of up to 7 MW. Reportedly, it supports all commercially available framed modules.
