ANERT floats bids for 1.2 MW rooftop solar projects

The Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research Technology (ANERT) has floated bids for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of 1.232 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems on 71 public buildings under the solar city project. The project will be located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

According to the tender guidelines, the successful bidder is required to operate and maintain the project for five years. Also, the successful bidder must provide a sum equal to 3 per cent of the contract value as a security deposit. Furthermore, bid participation is limited to ANERT-approved vendors for solar power projects.

The tender document specifies the use of solar modules with monocrystalline passivated emitter and rear contact half-cut cells of module capacity 525 Wp or higher, as listed in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved list of Models and Manufacturers. The bid submission deadline is December 24, 2022.

In October 2022, ANERT issued a request for proposals for the installation and commissioning of 2 MW of grid-connected solar projects. The project will be executed at the Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Limited (MILMA) dairy in Ernakulam, Kerala.

Also, in August 2022, ANERT floated bids for the solarisation of 9,348 grid-connected agricultural pumps under component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) programme in Kerala. The pumps will be ranging between 2 kW to 150 kW.
