Within 30 days of the relevant announcement, the successful bidder must provide a bank guarantee in the amount of 5 per cent of the purchase order value.
To participate in the bidding process, vendors must have in-house photovoltaic-grade multi-crystalline wafer manufacturing capacity of at least 100 MW per year. Furthermore, the vendor must have supplied at least 500,000 156.75 mm/157 mm/157.75 mm multicrystalline black pieces. The bid submission deadline is December 3, 2022.
In August 2022, BHEL invited bids for a ten-year contract for operations and maintenance (O&M) of a 100 MW grid-connected solar power project at Raghanesda Solar Park (Phase-I) in Gujarat. The contract is valued at approximately Rs 111.33 million.
