RUMSL floats consultancy tender for Morena wind-solar hybrid project

Rewa Ultra Mega Solar (RUMSL) has requested bids from consultants to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) for developing the Morena wind-solar hybrid project with energy storage in Madhya Pradesh. In order to participate in the bidding process, bidders are required to submit Rs 500,000 as a security deposit. Also, the successful bidder must submit an amount equivalent to 10 per cent of the contract value as a performance security deposit.

The bidders should have at least five years of advisory consultancy experience in developing a renewable energy project with a capacity of at least 100 MW in a single park. They must have assisted with at least three 100 MW solar or wind projects. Each of these projects must be undertaken in a single location and tendered by either central government, state government, public sector undertakings, or any other agency designated by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) for the development of renewable energy projects in the last five years.

Recently in November 2022, NTPC Renewable Energy, SJVN Green Energy, and Hinduja Renewables were declared as winners for the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar’s (RUMSL) auction for the 300 MW floating solar park (Phase II). The project will be implemented at the Omkareshwar reservoir in Madhya Pradesh.
