DhaSh PV expands PV junction box production capacity to 11 GW

DhaSh PV Technologies Pvt. Ltd, one of India’s leading PV junction box manufacturing company announced a significant expansion of its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, taking the total production capacity to 11GW from the existing capacity of 8 GW. The expansion is based on the significant increase in demand that the company has seen for its PV Junction box, as well as the expected increase in demand due to supportive policy steps announced recently by the Government of India for creating ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (Self-Reliant India).

Bangalore-based DhaSh PV Technologies commissioned a new junction box manufacturing line last month and penned down its further expansion plan to 50GW by 2025 in a phased manner.

DhaSh PV Technologies has seen an increase in demand for its products which reaffirms the faith customers put in the quality of its products. The expansions come amid the positive intent of the Government of India towards making this country a manufacturing hub and lessening its dependency on other countries as far as importing solar cells, modules, and components for modules are concerned.

Mr Manjunath Reddy, Managing Director & Founder said, Ultra-high power modules have quickly become a mainstream market choice and this new edition of the 3GW manufacturing facility will be dedicated to the DhaSh Trio Junction box which is most compatible with upcoming technologies such as M10, M12 cell modules.

The DhaSh Trio JB has revealed itself with a much more compact but robust design, increased efficiency and optimized cost, accommodating all the latest technology demands. Reduced overall size for Trio no longer poses any challenge to the bifacial gain of half-cut / G2G modules. The product is suitable for use in all high-efficiency PV modules having short-circuit currents of up to 18.5~19A.
